You only ever pay for answers.

Live chat, the inbox, unlimited teammates and the whole Discord ticket bot are free forever. One answer is one reply the assistant actually wrote. Not a conversation, not a resolution, not a message from a visitor. However many times it had to check your knowledge to write that reply, it still counts as one. Handing a chat to a person is never billed, because a handover is the product working, not a charge.

What would your month cost?

Two questions, and the same arithmetic your invoice would use. If this ever disagrees with a real bill, one of them is a bug and we will fix it.

Never billed

The meter exists to pay for model calls, not to tax you for using the product. This list is part of the deal.

  • Handing a chat to your team, including the summary we write for them. Some platforms bill a handover as a successful outcome. We never will.
  • Replies typed by a person, in the chat, the inbox or Discord.
  • Looking things up inside one answer. One answer counts once, however many times it had to check.
  • Anything that goes wrong on our side, including a second, closer look at a photo.
  • Replies our own safety checks stopped.
  • Misuse and off-topic questions, which are turned away before anything runs.
  • Saying hello first.
  • Testing it yourself, and the tester says so on screen.
  • Housekeeping we do for you: summaries, tidying tags, quality checks, drafts and spotting clashes.
  • Unreadable images. If the assistant cannot make out a photo, the image surcharge is waived and the retake coaching is free.
  • Setting your assistant up. While Versed is in beta, the work the dashboard assistant does for you, finding, drafting and proposing knowledge entries, is free on every plan.

The cap is a promise, not a setting

Hard stop by default

When your monthly answers run out the assistant stops. No surprise charge, ever, and no auto-refill quietly stacking charges you did not ask for.

Nobody is left mid-sentence

At the ceiling the assistant is disabled for the rest of the period. New conversations follow your configured handover immediately, and conversations already in progress hand over on the visitor's next reply.

Continuing is opt-in, with your ceiling

Auto-topup is off by default. If you turn it on, you set a dollar limit and we stop there.

You see it coming

Warnings at 50, 80 and 100 percent, in the dashboard and by email, with the number left beside the bar.

A per-conversation brake

After 20 answers in one conversation the assistant offers a person instead of answering again.

A ledger you can argue with

Every answer you were charged for is listed, and you can flag one. A bill you cannot query is a bill you have to take on faith.

Discord has its own daily budget

Each server gets its own daily budget, checked before every answer and set below your account ceiling, because a server full of strangers is not the one paying.

Why price per message

The platforms that bill per resolution publish a $0.99 unit, so a five-person team at 3,000 conversations a month lands between about $1,700 and $2,300 at their published prices. The same team fits our $99 plan. Per-conversation pricing also punishes the wrong thing: a one-line answer costs the vendor almost nothing and bills a dollar. Per message, a short resolution costs a cent or two and a long one costs what it costs.

So the meter here is the message, not the ticket. You pay for the work the model actually did. Every event that costs more than a plain reply is listed above with its multiplier, the cap is a number you set, and no part of your bill depends on how anyone chooses to define the word resolution. Rates above were read from public pricing pages on 2026-08-23.

Questions people actually ask

Are answers included in every plan?
Yes, including Free: 150 answers a month that renew forever. Free is a plan, not a trial, and nothing in it expires.
What exactly counts as one answer?
One answer is one reply the assistant actually wrote. Not a conversation, not a resolution, not a message from a visitor. However many times it had to check your knowledge to write that reply, it still counts as one. An answer that reads a photo counts as three, and Rook working on a task for you counts as five, because those cost us genuinely more.
What is never billed?
Handing a chat to your team, replies typed by a person anywhere, looking things up inside one answer, anything that goes wrong on our side, replies our safety checks stopped, misuse and off-topic questions, saying hello first, testing it yourself, and the housekeeping we do for you like summaries and clash checks.
What happens when I hit my cap?
The assistant stops for the rest of the period. New conversations follow your configured handover immediately, and conversations in progress hand over on the visitor's next reply, so nobody is left mid-sentence. Auto-topup is opt-in with a dollar ceiling you set.
Do you charge per seat?
No. Teammates are unlimited on every plan, with per-person permissions and per-person limits if you want them.
Is the Discord ticket bot really free?
Yes. Panels, claiming, close requests, transcripts and the rest are free on every plan, running on your own bot. Only the answers it writes inside tickets come out of your monthly total, and each server gets its own daily budget under your ceiling.
How do I leave?
Export your whole knowledge base in one click on any plan (JSON, Markdown or CSV), cancel any time, and delete your account from inside the product. Plans are prepaid by the month, so there is nothing to claw back.
